
 Paul Murphy's career in the software industry has spanned twenty
years
and three continents. Ten years were dedicated to understanding and
building large systems on Wall Street for clients like J.P. Morgan and
Salomon Brothers. Mr. Murphy’s work in this area allowed him to explore
a broad range of computing solutions, from mainframes to web services,
and the gamut of space-time trade-offs required by front and back office
systems.
Five years ago, Mr. Murphy moved to London to work at Adeptra, a pioneer
in the use of automated outbound calling in the area of credit card
fraud detection and prevention. As Adeptra’s CTO, he spearheaded the
development of the platform that enabled Adeptra to become the world's
leader in automated contact solutions.
Since then, Mr. Murphy has continued to develop software solutions in
both the telephony and general computing spaces.
As Carrara's founding technology associate, Mr. Murphy designs and
builds software, and manages Carrara's operations group.
